PILATES
Pilates is a form of exercise which focuses on improving general movement, increasing strength, and giving the individual more control in their body. At Well Nest, we use a mixture of Mat-based and Reformer-based Pilates, using various types of equipment and machines, helping the individual to improve their core stability and general strength. Whether you are suffering from pain, injury, poor posture or simply looking to improve your strength, Well Nest provides one-on-one sessions focusing on your core stability, strength, posture, balance and control.

our approach
initial assessment
We use a standardised assessment which involves extensive questioning, observation of both static posture and dynamic movements, as well as photos and video analysis and research questionnaires.
tailor-made programme
Following the assessment, we will formulate a bespoke programme on how to treat or improve the issue using various Pilates techniques.
treatment & training
We will use various Pilates techniques including equipment (Reformer, Trapeze Table and Combination Chair) based exercises with different loads and resistance. We will also provide treatments for basic movements. This allows maintaining control in different postures, adapting to the individual's needs.
